In 1973 there were 8 volunteers<SUP>2</SUP>  and 3 shows at the Kerrville Municipal Auditorium. There was the 2nd <B>Kerrville Folk Festival</B>, a <B>Ragtime Festival</B> and a show called "<B>An Evening from the Kerrville Folk Festival</B>," which was a fundraiser to help with the acquisition of the Quiet Valley Ranch. Rod and Nancy Lee Kennedy closed on the deal in December of 1973 <SUP>3</SUP>
